Under the hood of the Buick Encore GX is an ECOTEC 1.2-liter turbo engine that generates 137 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque. An ECOTEC 1.3-liter turbocharged engine is also available, and it produces 155 horsepower and 174 lb-ft of torque.
