Performance

The off-road-oriented 2025 GMC Yukon XL AT4 Ultimate and entry-level 2025 GMC Yukon XL Elevation join the five-trim lineup of this redesigned GMC SUV for sale. Three engines are available:

• 3-liter V8 engine that achieves 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque.
• 2-liter V8 engine rated at 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque.
• 0-liter inline-six turbodiesel that outputs 305 horsepower and 495 lb-ft of torque. This is 28 more horsepower and 35 lb-ft of torque more than last year’s engine. Also, 2025 is the first time this engine is available on all trims.

Rear-wheel drive (RWD) and four-wheel drive (4WD) are both available, and all three engines pair with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Maximum towing capacity for the 2025 GMC Yukon XL is 8,400 lbs.

Infotainment Technology

The 2025 GMC Yukon XL is packed with premium infotainment features. A big highlight is an all-new 16.8-inch diagonal touchscreen with available Google built-in. This new display provides access to wide-ranging amenities such as a Wi-Fi® hotspot, satellite radio, and wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™. Select trims can also add a rear-seat media system that includes dual 12.6-inch screens and wireless projection via Wi-Fi®.

Safety

This year’s model is the first GMC vehicle to offer Night Vision, which uses thermal imaging to identify pedestrians and animals in the dark.
