The seats in the AT4X model are black, white, and red and the cabin has a color palette inspired by winter sports, while the Denali trim features black leather and brown accents along with laser-etched wood trim.
Each of the truck’s eye-catching trims relies on the same engine for motivation. A turbocharged 2.7-liter four-cylinder engine powers the all-new GMC Canyon, and it delivers 310 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque. An eight-speed automatic transmission pairs with the mighty engine. Four-wheel drive is standard across the pickup’s lineup with the exception of the Elevation model.
A Look at the Pickup’s Capabilities
If you’re looking to bring along trailers, equipment, and other heavy gear, this new truck is the model for you. The GMC Canyon can tow up to 7,700 lbs and haul as much as 1,640 lbs when it has the appropriate equipment.
Bypassing obstacles on the trail is no problem for this truck. Every trim except for the off-road-oriented AT4X model has 9.6 inches of ground clearance. With a stout 10.7 inches of ground clearance, the AT4X is well-positioned to tackle the outdoors.
