Powertrain Details

A turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine powers the GMC Acadia, and it delivers a stout GM-estimated 328 horsepower and 326 lb-ft of torque.
Front-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission are standard for most of the SUV’s trims, with all-wheel drive available as an option. The off-road-oriented GMC Acadia AT4 model is only offered with all-wheel drive, however. This trim also comes with a twin-clutch rear differential, skid plates, and tow hooks.
