Two electric motors and a battery pack power the GMC Sierra EV, and they combine to produce a whopping 754 horsepower and 785 lb-ft of torque when the truck is in Max Power mode. That’s enough power for the full-size pickup to reach 60 miles per hour from a standstill in just 4.5 seconds. 

With the right equipment, the GMC Sierra EV can tow up to 9,500 lb. Thanks to the pickup’s available MultiPro™ midgate, you can extend the truck’s 5’ 11” bed to 10’ 10” to transport items that measure nine feet in length when necessary. If you add a bed extender to your luxury ride, you can haul gear as long as 11 feet. 

Four-wheel steering is standard for the GMC Sierra EV Denali Edition 1. The truck also has a CrabWalk™ feature that enables the pickup to move diagonally in tight spaces. 

Driving Range and Charging Time 

Drivers are often curious about how far EVs can travel between charges. The GM-estimated driving range for the GMC Sierra EV is 400 miles, making range anxiety a thing of the past.
